Robert Poe

Randolph County Food Hub Director

​Robert Poe is a farmer and the Randolph County Food Hub Director for NC Rooted Community Agriculture, Inc. (NCRCA). He and his wife, Lindsey, own and operate Poe Family Farm in Liberty, North Carolina, bringing over 12 years of experience in agriculture, farm operations, and direct-to-consumer sales. Through their farm, Robert has gained extensive experience in production, customer relationships, logistics, and connecting locally grown products with the community. As Food Hub Director, Robert oversees the daily operations of the Randolph County Food Hub, including farmer coordination, product management, order fulfillment, customer service, and logistics. Before working full-time in agriculture, Robert served in the United States Army and worked in information technology, bringing valuable experience in leadership, organization, and problem-solving. Robert is passionate about supporting local farmers, strengthening the local food system, and helping make fresh, locally grown food more accessible throughout the community.
