Lindsey Poe

Founder & Executive Director

​Lindsey Poe is a farmer and founder of NC Rooted Community Agriculture, Inc. (NCRCA). She and her husband own and operate Poe Family Farm in Liberty, North Carolina, bringing over 12 years of experience in local agriculture. Lindsey has worked in food access, nutrition education, and farm-to-school programs through  AmeriCorps and the Guilford County Cooperative Extension. She holds a degree in Public Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her work is rooted in connecting local farms to their communities and ensuring access to healthy, locally grown food for all. She is passionate about building resilient local food systems that support both farmers and families. Lindsey serves as Executive Director, contributing her expertise in agriculture, public health, and community engagement.
