Chair of the Board

Amanda Hayworth Marino was raised in Randolph County and has a strong commitment to service and community connection. She currently serves as a Payroll Support Specialist with Florida Virtual School in Orlando, Florida. In her role, Amanda brings strong organizational and financial support skills, including meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources efficiently and preparing financial reports. She manages monthly file submissions for employee contributions, serving more than 3,000 employees each year, as well as assisting with documentation for annual audits. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She serves as Chair of the Board, contributing a detail-oriented, service-driven perspective that strengthens board leadership and organizational accountability.
